Welcome! As a concerned parent, your child’s education is a priority. This site is intended as another way for you to communicate with your child’s teacher and visa versa. It is also yet another way for you to know what is going regarding Stanford Achievement Test (SAT). It is part of Florida’s overall plan to increase student achievement by implementing higher standards. The SAT is given to K-2nd graders. While 3rd-11th graders are given the FSA. Both measure specific benchmarks in mathematics, reading, science, and writing from the Sunshine State Standards (SSS). However, second graders only take the reading and mathematics portion of the SAT.
Have your child read daily. You can help them by asking them similar SAT/ Core like questions utilizing their SAT/Core Task Card about what he/she has read. Remember to encourage them to use the text to answer because your child will be permitted to do so during any test which assesses comprehension like the SAT, FSA & other exams. Also, help them get accustom to reading long periods of time to increase their reading endurance. Thanks for your continuing support! I look forward to hearing from you.
